Care in English and Russian
Dr. Gromov consults fluently in English and Russian. For a lot of patients across the North Shore and the north-west suburbs that removes the part of dentistry people find hardest — explaining the problem, and then understanding the answer.
Consent is the practical reason this matters. Agreeing to surgery you have only partly understood is not informed consent, and a family member translating a clinical conversation is not a substitute for having it directly.
Which practice should I go to?
It genuinely does not matter which you choose. Both do the full range of treatment, the notes follow you, and you see the same surgeon either way. Pick the shorter drive — you will be making it more than once.
- Skokie — 5550 W Touhy Ave
- Easiest from Evanston, Lincolnwood, Niles, Morton Grove, Wilmette and the north side of the city.
- Schaumburg — 1041 Woodfield Rd
- Easiest from the north-west suburbs and along I-90. This is the main practice.
Paying for treatment
Periodontal and implant treatment is not cheap, and pretending otherwise wastes everyone’s time. What we can do is be straight about the number early, and spread it: 0% APR payment plans are available, most major dental insurance is accepted, and we file claims on your behalf.
We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid. Better to know that now than after the drive.
